Þingið ehf. (pronounced "Thingith", and also called "The Thing") is a consulting company focused on providing programming and logic solutions to innovative new companies, and also to larger businesses in times of change.

I specialize in the early and late stages of software projects: software design, software architecture, rapid prototyping; and also debugging and problem-solving. When given free choice in a new project, I will usually gravitate toward perl or C++, but I have experience with a wide range of languages, and learning a new one for a project is not a problem.

I specialize in unusual problems which involve one or more sciences, and for which the conventional answer is either non-existent, not viable, or not optimal. My strength is in seeing problems from new angles, borrowing techniques from other areas of science, and working with specialists to arrive at outside-the-box solutions.
